I really don’t like this scene. Not only because it’s not in the books but because it creates a huge plot hole. Most of the phoenix members where there at their new secret base. The death eaters could have just killed them all or most of them and in addition they could kidnap Harry for Voldemort. I mean the war would basically be over if they cough them off guard there. Yet they attack, so they know the burrow is their secret meeting point anf they don’t kill any phoenix member. Also they don’t try to take Harry with them. To me it’s completely senseless. Instead of that „battle“ they should have had the battle at Hogwarts as is it in the books.

I admit I'm a Harmony shipper and there are so many scenes of Hermione throwing herself into danger for Harry. But Nam Ginny is not to be overlooked. She didn't hesitate, she saw Harry was falling into a trap and just threw herself into the fight. We can say what we want about the pairing, but Ginny Weasley loved him and proved it time and time again. I think Hermione did as well.
